Work with us:

South Wharf Restaurants

Good people. Good food. Good venues.

Better together.

South Wharf Restaurants brings together a group of Melbourne hospitality venues with a strong base, a loyal following and plenty still to build.

We’re always interested in hearing from good people who want to work with us day to day, as well as suppliers, creatives and collaborators who can help us improve what we already do.

That might mean joining the team on the floor, in the kitchen or behind the scenes. It might mean working with us as a local supplier, performer, photographer, producer, teacher, event partner or brand collaborator.

If you care about hospitality, take pride in your work and like being part of something that’s moving forward, we’d love to hear from you.

Work with venues that are always evolving

Across South Wharf Restaurants, no two days look exactly the same.

Our venues run everything from daily service and riverside dining to private events, corporate groups, cooking classes, wine lunches, seasonal campaigns and weekend experiences.

We’re interested in people who are reliable, switched on and genuinely care about the guest experience.

We’d love to hear from:

  • Floor staff

  • Bartenders

  • Supervisors

  • Chefs

  • Kitchen hands

  • Hosts

  • Events staff

  • Marketing and content support

Experience helps, but attitude matters just as much. If you’re organised, willing to learn and good with people, that counts for a lot.

Suppliers and producers

Help us make the product stronger

We work with suppliers who care about consistency, quality and long-term relationships.

Whether you’re supplying food, drinks, packaging, equipment, florals, print, signage or something more specialised, we’re open to conversations with people who can help us improve the way we operate.

We’re especially interested in suppliers who are:

  • Reliable

  • Easy to communicate with

  • Transparent on pricing and availability

  • Proud of their product

  • Able to grow with us

  • Practical when things change

We don’t need a hard sell. We’re more interested in whether there’s a good fit.

Creatives, performers and collaborators

Bring something useful to the table

A lot of what we do sits between food, events, content and experience.

We work with photographers, videographers, musicians, performers, teachers, producers, designers, creators and event partners who can help us bring ideas to life.

That might be a cooking class, a wine lunch, a live music session, a brand activation, a content shoot, a seasonal event or something we haven’t thought of yet.

If you have a clear idea, a strong skill set or a product that suits our venues, we’re happy to hear it.

What we value

The way you work matters

We’re not trying to be the biggest hospitality group in Melbourne. We’re trying to build venues and experiences that people enjoy coming back to.

That takes good systems, good product and good people.

We value people who are:

  • Reliable

  • Positive without being fake

  • Good under pressure

  • Respectful of the team

  • Practical and solution-focused

  • Proud of small details

  • Clear communicators

  • Interested in improving

Hospitality can be fast, messy and unpredictable.

Good people make all the difference.

Our venues

Plus 5 Terrace

A strong base across Melbourne

Safe, respectful and professional

Hospitality works best when people feel safe, supported and clear on what is expected.

Across our venues, we care about safe work practices, respectful communication and looking after each other during busy services, events and day-to-day operations.

That means working cleanly, following proper procedures, speaking up when something is not right and helping create a workplace where people can do good work without unnecessary risk or pressure.

We value people and partners who take safety seriously, respect the team around them and understand that good hospitality starts behind the scenes.

For suppliers, contractors and collaborators, this also means working professionally on site, communicating clearly and respecting the standards we have in place for our venues, staff and guests.

Get in touch

Whether you’re looking for a role, pitching a product, offering a service or exploring a collaboration, send us a few details and we’ll point it in the right direction.

We may not have the perfect opportunity today, but we’re always open to hearing from good people.
